Die Fantastischen Vier (, "The Fantastic Four"), often shortened to Fanta 4, is a German hip hop band from Stuttgart. The members are Michael Schmidt (Smudo), Andreas Rieke, Thomas Dürr, and Michi Beck. They were, together with Advanced Chemistry, one of the earliest German-language rap groups.Brown, Timothy S. German hip hop (locally known as ''Deutschrap'', ''Deutsch'' meaning German) refers to hip hop music in the German language. Elements of American hip hop culture, such as graffiti art and breakdancing, diffused into Western Europe in the early 1980s. It was recorded on 21 September 2003 at the Römerkastell in Stuttgart, the last show of the group's ''Unplugged''-tour. Due to many requests from fans for a recording of the final show, the label founded by Die Fantastischen Vier, Four Music, decided to release a double- CD record of the show.
