Action Comedy
The action comedy is a film genre that applies to action films where humor plays a much more central role. While early films feature stuntwork and humor, academic Cynthia King wrote that the genre only came into its own as a mainstay of the American action film genre in the 1980s when actors who had backgrounds in comedy such as Eddie Murphy began taking roles in action films. The genre approaches various narratives and styles such as buddy films, superhero films, and Hong Kong action cinema featuring various actors such as Jackie Chan. Action comedy has also been a recurring theme in television, with series such as ''The Dukes of Hazzard'' (1979–1985) and ''Peacemaker (TV series), Peacemaker'' (2022). Film Academic Yvonne Tasker that most post-classical Hollywood action films are "more or less Action film#Hybrid genres, hybrids." Killer Clown
The evil clown is a subversion of the traditional comic clown character, in which the playful trope is instead depicted in a more disturbing nature through the use of horror elements and dark humor. The modern archetype of the evil clown was popularized by the DC Comics supervillain Joker starting in 1940, and again in the 1980s by Pennywise from Stephen King's '' It''. The character can be seen as playing on the sense of unease felt by sufferers of coulrophobia, the fear of clowns. Terminology The character is also known as the creepy clown, scary clown or killer clown if their character revolves around terrorizing and murdering people. Origins The modern archetype of the evil clown has unclear origins; the stock character appeared infrequently during the 19th century, in such works as Edgar Allan Poe's "Hop-Frog", Poe, Edgar Allan, "Hop-Frog" (1849) which is believed by Jack Morgan, of the University of Missouri-Rolla, to draw upon an earlier incident "at a masquerade ba ...

Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal)
Marcus "Needles" Kane—commonly known as Sweet Tooth—is a fictional character from the ''Twisted Metal'' video game series. Sweet Tooth is designed around the premise of a killer clown that drives a combat ice cream truck, and his face has been featured on the cover of every ''Twisted Metal'' game, making him the series' mascot. He is the only character besides Marcus Kane (who makes up his split personality) to drive more than one vehicle in any of the games, being the driver of "Dark Tooth", "Tower Tooth", and as of ''Twisted Metal: Lost'', "Gold Tooth". The character has gone through several redesigns differing from game to game, similar to fellow character Calypso, and his personality has grown progressively darker along the way. Despite the changes some factors remained uniform, notably the perpetual flame on his head introduced in the second game. Starting with ''Twisted Metal: Black'', his design became a large, somewhat overweight bare chested clown with a mask featur ...
