Georg Marischka
Georg Marischka (29 June 1922 in Vienna – 9 August 1999 in Munich) was an Austrian actor, screen writer, director and film producer for cinema and television. Life George Marischka was born into the world of film because his father was Hubert Marischka and Ernst Marischka was his uncle. In 1949 he worked for Gustav Ucicky as associate director. One year later he contributed to the screen play of ''Die Sünderin'' (The Sinner). Eventually in 1951 he was credited as director for the first time. Afterwards he directed three films starring the Austrian star O. W. Fischer who at that time was very popular in German-speaking countries. This included 1955's '' Hanussen''. Due to his reputation to be an expert concerning Karl May, he got involved in Karl May movies in the 1960s. Helmut Gustav Friedrich Qualtinger (; 8 October 1928 – 29 September 1986; also spelled Helmuth Qualtinger) was an Austrian actor, cabaret performer, writer and reciter. Biography Qualtinger was born in Vienna, First Austrian Republic, to a secondary education teacher and his wife, stemming from the bourgeois class of the Bildungsbürgertum, his father being a follower of the German Nazi movement. While at school Qualtinger's interest in literature and acting became obvious and he founded a youth theater as a pupil. Afterwards he initially studied medicine and literature, but quit university to become a newspaper reporter and film critic for local press, while beginning to write his own texts for cabaret performances and theater plays. Alma Seidler
Alma Seidler (1 June 1899 – 8 December 1977) was an Austrian actress. She was member of the Burgtheater for over 50 years. Biography Alma Seidler was born in Leoben, the daughter of Ernst Seidler von Feuchtenegg. The later Burgtheater director Albert Heine was her teacher and sponsor. From 1918 to 1977, she was actress at the Burgtheater and made her debut in Ibsen's ''Wildente'' in 1919. Since 1960, she was honorary member of the Burgtheater. She also performed at the Salzburg Festival. Seidler was married to the Burgtheater actor and director , with whom she had a son. She died in Vienna on 8 December 1977 and is buried in a grave of honor at the Vienna Central Cemetery.
