S Prakash Tiwari is an Indian biotechnologist, geneticist, agriculturalist and a former Deputy Director General of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). He was Vice-Chancellor of Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, and Director of National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad. He is also a former director of National Research Centre on Soybean, Indore. Early life and education Tiwari was born in Jabalpur and obtained his PhD in genetics from Indian Agriculture Research Institute and further completed postdoc from National Institute of Agricultural Botany, Cambridge, UK. Kamlesh Tiwari
Kamlesh Tiwari (16 January 1969 – 18 October 2019) was an Indian politician who founded the Hindu Samaj Party in 2017. Azam Khan, a politician from the Samajwadi Party, responded to Union finance minister Arun Jaitley's statements in support of decriminalization of homosexuality, by labelling members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as "homosexuals". Tiwari retaliated with comments about Islam's prophet Muhammad, which were considered derogatory by Indian Muslims, who protested, with some people calling for beheading Tiwari. Tiwari was subsequently arrested, charged under the National Security Act, and jailed for a few months by the Uttar Pradesh Police, before his release and subsequent murder. Hari Shankar Tiwari (5 August 1933 – 16 May 2023) was an Indian gangster and politician. Tiwari was a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the village Tanda, Chillupar in Gorakhpur district. Politics Tiwari was the first gangster in Indian political history to have won elections from prison. Elected from Chillupar, he remained a member of the legislative assembly for years. In 1997, he was founding member of Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Congress along with Jagdambika Pal, Rajeev Shukla, Shyam Sunder Sharma and Bacha Pathak. Ghanshyam Tiwari (born 29 June 1979) is an Indian politician and the current National Spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party. He served as the advisor to the JD (U) government in Bihar from 2010 to 2015. In 2019, Ghanshyam contested the Lok Sabha constituency of Karakat in the general election.
