Time Fixers
''Tenacious D: Time Fixers'' is a short film that was used as a promotional tool on the iTunes website. The film stars Tenacious D as well as Michael Keaton and longtime collaborators JR Reed and Paul F. Tompkins. The first half of the film was available as a free download on iTunes, while the second half could only be accessed after pre-ordering the album ''The Pick of Destiny''. The film can also be found on YouTube, as well as the second disk of ''The Complete Masterworks Part 2''. Plot At an open mic night, Tenacious D are performing "Training Medley" to an indifferent crowd, one of whom (Dan Harmon) heckles the band. After the show, they get a message from Michael Keaton as himself, saying that the time-space continuum has been disrupted in the Ford's Theater in the 1850s. After they travel there, they discover that Abraham Lincoln (Justin Roiland) has walked out of the play, which would prevent his assassination. Daniel James Harmon (born January 3, 1973) is an American writer, producer, and actor. He is best known as the creator and producer of the NBC/ Yahoo! ''The Complete Master Works 2'' is a video album by American comedy rock band Tenacious D. Released on November 4, 2008, it features footage from the band's performances at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington on February 16 and 17, 2007, during ''The Pick of Destiny Tour''. The release also features numerous bonus videos and '' D Tour: A Tenacious Documentary''. It is the successor to the band's previous collection ''The Complete Master Works''. A notable mistake on the DVD case states that the footage of the Seattle performances was recorded at the Moore Theatre. The band would go on to perform at the Moore Theatre over ten years later in December 2018, as part of their ''Post-Apocalypto Tour''. John Wilkes Booth (May 10, 1838 – April 26, 1865) was an American stage actor who assassinated United States President Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C., on April 14, 1865. Ford's Theater
Ford's Theatre is a theater located in Washington, D.C., which opened in August 1863. The theater is infamous for being the site of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. On the night of April 14, 1865, John Wilkes Booth entered the theater box where Lincoln and his wife were watching a performance of ''Our American Cousin'', slipped the single-shot, 5.87-inch derringer from his pocket and fired at Lincoln's head. After being shot, the fatally wounded Lincoln was carried across the street to the Petersen House, where he died the next morning. The theater was later used as a warehouse and government office building. In 1893, part of its interior flooring collapsed, causing 22 deaths, and needed repairs were made.
