''This Is Your Life'' is an American reality television, reality Documentary film, documentary series broadcast on NBC radio from 1948 to 1952, and on NBC television from 1952 to 1961. It was originally hosted by its creator and producer Ralph Edwards. In the program, the host surprised guests and then took them through a retrospective of their lives in front of an audience, including appearances by colleagues, friends, and family. Edwards revived the show in 1971–1972, and Joseph Campanella hosted a version in 1983. Edwards returned for various specials in the late 1980s. Concept The idea for ''This Is Your Life'' arose while Edwards was working on game show ''Truth or Consequences''. He had been asked by the United States Army to "do something" for paraplegic soldiers at Birmingham General Army Hospital, a California Army rehabilitation hospital in Van Nuys, Los Angeles (a site later Birmingham High School, converted into a high school). ''Portrait'' is the fifth album by the American pop group the 5th Dimension, released in 1970. This is the group's first album for Bell Records, having switched from the Soul City Records label. The cover features an impressionistic portrait by famous artist LeRoy Neiman. The album languished in the mid-60s on the Billboard Top LPs chart after the release of its first three singles, none of which entered the top 20 of the American pop music charts. Bell Records, hoping to see a return on the investment they made by signing the 5th Dimension after the group's contract at Soul City Records ended, made a fourth and final attempt at a hit – a relatively uncommon practice at the time – with the release of Burt Bacharach and Hal David's " One Less Bell to Answer". ''Supporting Caste'' is the fifth studio album by the Canadian punk rock band Propagandhi. It was released on March 10, 2009, by G7 Welcoming Committee Records and Smallman Records in North America, Hassle Records in the UK and Europe, and Grand Hotel van Cleef in Germany. Dust Brothers
The Dust Brothers are a pair of songwriters and producers consisting of E.Z. Mike ( Michael Simpson) and King Gizmo ( John King). They are famous for the sample-based music they produced in the 1980s and 1990s, and specifically for their work on the albums '' Paul's Boutique'' by Beastie Boys, ''Odelay'', '' Midnite Vultures'' and '' Guero'' by Beck, the soundtrack to ''Fight Club'', and " MMMBop" by Hanson. ''Angry Machines'' is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Dio, released on October 4, 1996, through Mercury Records in Japan, and on October 15, 1996, through Mayhem Records in the U.S. It was the last studio album to feature original drummer Vinny Appice, and guitarist Tracy Grijalva. The album was not commercially successful and vastly underperformed compared to earlier Dio albums. Reissue In 2019, ''Angry Machines'' was remastered and announced for reissue in 2020. While the first disc is identical to the original North American and European releases, the second disc contains live tracks recorded on various dates of the ''Angry Machines'' tour. The track "God Hates Heavy Metal", exclusive to Japanese pressings of the album, was not included in the reissue. ''Heartwork'' is the fourth studio album by English extreme metal band Carcass. The album was released in the UK by Earache Records on 18 October 1993, and in the United States on 11 January 1994 by Columbia Records, making it the band's only major label release. ''Heartwork'' has been described as the band's "breakthrough" and "mid-period masterpiece", as well as a landmark album in melodic death metal. The album was recorded at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool from 18 May – 21 June 1993. The sculpture depicted in the cover art, "Life Support 1993," was designed by H. R. Banderas (duo)
Banderas were a British music duo of the early 1990s who were signed to London Records. The band was an offshoot of Jimmy Somerville's band the Communards, and featured two of his female backing musicians, Scottish vocalist Caroline Buckley and English violinist/keyboardist Sally Herbert. The duo are mostly remembered for their hit single "This Is Your Life", which peaked at No. 16 on the UK Singles Chart in March 1991. The track was co-written with songwriter Roger Swallow and contains samples of the song "Crack Attack" by Grace Jones from her 1989 album '' Bulletproof Heart''.
