An informant (also called an informer or, as a slang term, a "snitch", "rat", "canary", "stool pigeon", "stoolie", "tout" or "grass", among other terms) is a person who provides privileged information, or (usually damaging) information intended to be intimate, concealed, or secret, about a person or organization to an agency, often a government or law enforcement agency. ''Monument Ave.'', originally titled ''Snitch'' in the United States and titled ''Noose'' in Australia, is a 1998 American neo-noir crime film directed by Ted Demme and starring Denis Leary and written by Mike Armstrong. "Snitch" is a song by American rapper Obie Trice, released as the first single from his second studio album ''Second Round's on Me'' (2006). The song features guest vocals from American singer Akon, who also produced the song and helped to write it along with Trice. Critical reception "Snitch" received generally positive reviews from music critics. Henry Adaso of About.com called "Snitch" a "potent single" and complimented the musical growth shown by Trice on the song, noted that it "signal Trice's transition from the cartoonish Slim Shady accomplice that once underwhelmed... to a sole survivor." Boris Daenen (; born 22 March 1989), better known by his stage name Netsky ( ), is a Belgian drum and bass producer and musician. The name Netsky is based on the computer virus of the same name. History Netsky is an electronic music producer, artist and DJ from Belgium. He started out producing music of the liquid funk style – drum and bass music with many instrumental layers and frequent vocals. High Contrast's 'Gold Digger' remix was a major influence on him. In late 2009, Netsky signed a recording contract with Hospital Records, the same label as other well known liquid artists such as High Contrast and London Elektricity. Quidditch () is a fictional sport invented by author J. K. Rowling for her fantasy book series ''Harry Potter''. It first appeared in the novel ''Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'' (1997). Perhaps the most notable feature was the ZIP Code Crime Watch, which gave brief, usually sarcastic commentary on hundreds of items in the weekly police reports, broken down by ZIP codes, along with crime totals for the respective areas. Snitch also ran numerous crime-themed articles in each issue, as well as advertisements and classifieds. History Joseph Grove, a journalist in Louisville, Kentucky, developed the concept in 2000 with co-founders Mary Jacobson and Tim Sanford.
