Seeing Double (album)
''Seeing Double'' is the fourth studio album from S Club. It was the only album to be released under the name "S Club", after the group was rebranded when Paul Cattermole left the group in June 2002 after his departure announcement in March. It was used as the main musical influence to the film of the same name released in April 2003. Despite good reviews and reception, the album only managed to reach number 17 on the UK Albums Chart. Background After Paul Cattermole's departure, vowing to not disband, the remaining six members remained together under the name S Club. Despite losing a member of the group, the future remained positive as, although they were very sad to see Cattermole leave the group, they were "delighted" to have extended their contracts meaning they could look forward to new material, a new series of their television show as well as their first feature film. Duncan Lloyd
Duncan Lloyd is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is the lead songwriter and backing vocalist for Maxïmo Park. He also works as a solo artist releasing albums on Warp Records (U.K.), Crash Symbols (U.S.) and is currently on Reveal Records. Working under the name, 'Decade in Exile' as well as his own name, he is also in experimental band Res Band from Derby and alternative rock band Nano Kino. Alongside songwriting Lloyd is an exhibiting painter and photographer. Biography Lloyd also works in soundtrack composition. He has collaborated with composers Jon Boorman and Benson Taylor on music for film and television. Solo In 2017 he released ''IOUOME'' on ''Afternoon in Bed Records'' his first album under his own name in 9 years. ''Seeing Double'' is a 2003 British musical-comedy film starring British pop-group, S Club. Written by Kim Fuller and Paul Alexander, and directed by Nigel Dick, the film mostly features songs from the group's album of the same name including " Don't Stop Movin" and " Never Had a Dream Come True". Plot The film opens at the fictional Eagle Peak castle in Hollywood, where evil scientist Victor Gaghan is creating his S Club clones. Meanwhile, the real S Club arrive in Barcelona for their last show of their whirlwind tour. After spending the day promoting and performing, the group get excited about having some time off, until their manager Alistair informs them that they will be leaving for Los Angeles at 7:00 A.M. the next morning. Seeing Double (song)
"Seeing Double" is the first 7" single of English new wave band the Teardrops, released on TJM Records, in 1979. The band comprised John Key, Trev Wain, Karl Burns (ex-Fall drummer) and Jim Donnelly, being credited in the black sleeve of the single. Initially, Steve Garvey, then of Buzzcocks, was also a member, but he did not participate on this disc, despite having played in the two first EPs, '' In and Out of Fashion'' and ''Leave Me No Choice'' in 1978; however, according to the list of the discography of all the Buzzcocks members, he played, only with Burns and also ex-Fall member Tony Friel. All or Nothin' is the second studio album by American outlaw country singer Nikki Lane. It was released on May 6, 2014 on New West Records. Background and recording Lane recorded the album with producer Dan Auerbach, the frontman of the Black Keys, at his studio "Easy Eye Sound" in Nashville. Auerbach and Lane perform together on the album, in the duet "Love's on Fire". Lane co-wrote all 12 of the album's tracks and producer Auerbach co-wrote 5. Diplopia is the simultaneous perception of two images of a single object that may be displaced in relation to each other. Also called double vision, it is a loss of visual focus under regular conditions, and is often voluntary. However, when occurring involuntarily, it results from impaired function of the extraocular muscles, where both eyes are still functional, but they cannot turn to target the desired object.
