''Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'' is an upcoming American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Hope Pym / Wasp. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the sequel to ''Ant-Man'' (2015) and ''Ant-Man and the Wasp'' (2018) and the 31st film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Peyton Tucker Reed (born July 3, 1964) is an American television and film director. He directed the comedy films '' Bring It On'', '' Down with Love'', '' The Break-Up'', and '' Yes Man'', as well as the superhero film ''Ant-Man'' and its sequels. Hope van Dyne (née Pym) is a fictional character portrayed by Evangeline Lilly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film franchise, loosely based on the Marvel Comics character Hope Pym.
