''Poramon 2'' () is a Bangladeshi Bengali romantic drama film directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Abdul Aziz. It is distributed by Jaaz Multimedia. Starring in the lead roles are Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry, Bapparaj. It is the sequel of 2013 film '' Poramon'' starring Symon Sadik and Mahiya Mahi. The film was released in Eid Ul Fitr of 2018 and music directed By Rizvi Hasan.. The film was a commercial success. Plot The only daughter of day laborer Kafil Mia, Jasmine, committed suicide by hanging herself at night, because her lover Kabir betrayed her. Since self-murder is not accepted in Islam, there is no place for the funeral and grave of Jasmine's dead body in the Islam inhabited Shwapnopuri village. A mosque imam and an influential rich man of the village with the help of Badrul Talukder did not let the funeral and grave take place in the village. Md. Mahmudul Haque Imran (born 5 September 1991) also known as Imran Mahmudul is a Bangladeshi music composer and playback singer whose songs have been featured in different albums and movies. Dilshad Nahar Kona (born 15 April 1981; known as Kona) is a Bangladeshi singer. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her song ''"Tui Ki Amar Hobi Re"'' in the film '' Bishwoshundori'' (2020). Early life Kona was a student of Moghbazar Girls High School and Lalmatia College, Dhaka. She studied Nazrul Geeti in Nazrul Academy.
