Himalaya Roadies
''Himalaya Roadies'' is an adventure-based Nepalese reality show. It is franchise of the ''MTV Roadies'' series. The series is broadcast by the Nepalese network Himalaya TV and airs every week for an hour. The participants receive difficult tasks to complete to become a roadie. Only people of 18 and over are allowed to participate in the show. Season 4, with the theme of Season of Survival, followed the former format of ''MTV Roadies''. Well known TV host and personality Suraj Singh Thakuri replaced Raymon Das Shrestha as the host of the show in season 5. The fifth season is titled "Power of five". In previous seasons there were four gang leaders, namely Anoop Bikram Shahi, Saman Shrestha (Extreme Athlete), Deeya Maskey and Ashish Rana, a.k.a. Laure. Dharan, Nepal
Dharan () is a sub-metropolitan city in Sunsari District of Koshi Province, in eastern Nepal, which was established as a fourth municipality in the Kingdom in 1958. It is the third most populous city in eastern Nepal after Biratnagar and Itahari. The Nepali word "dharan" means a saw pit. In 1960, a British Gurkha camp was also established near the city. Itahari () is a sub-metropolitan city in the Sunsari District of Koshi Province in Nepal. Itahari city has grown as an important business hub of eastern Nepal. Birgunj () is a metropolitan city in Parsa District in Madhes Pradesh in southern Nepal. It lies south of the capital Kathmandu, attached in the north to Raxaul on the border of the Indian state of Bihar. As an entry point to Nepal from Patna, Birgunj is known as the "Gateway of Nepal". Bhadrapur, or Chandragadhi (), is a town and municipality in Jhapa District in the Koshi Pradesh of southeastern Nepal.
