Erlend Øye
Erlend Otre Øye (born 21 November 1975) is a Norwegian composer, musician, producer, singer and songwriter from Bergen, best known for being one half of the indie folk duo Kings of Convenience, along with Eirik Glambek Bøe. Among other musical projects he is front-man for the band The Whitest Boy Alive, and has contributed to tracks by electronic music artists such as Dntel and Norwegian duo Röyksopp. He is also the co-founder of the independent label Bubbles Records. Since 2012 he has lived in Sicily and played extensively with trio La Comitiva. In addition to his native Norwegian, he also speaks English and some Italian. Bergen (, ) is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Vestland county on the Western Norway, west coast of Norway. James Scott Tamborello, (born 1975) also known by his stage name Dntel , is an American electronic music artist and DJ. Aside from his main solo project, Tamborello is also known as a member of the groups The Postal Service, Headset, Strictly Ballroom, and Figurine, where he is sometimes cited as James Figurine. Razika
Razika was a Norwegian alternative indie pop band from Møhlenpris, Bergen with various indie rock, punk, ska and reggae influences. While their early work featured some tracks in English, they primarily composed songs in their native Norwegian. In 2010, they were signed to the Smalltown Supersound label and have released four albums: ''Program 91'' (in 2011), ''På vei hjem'' (in 2013), ''Ut til de andre'' (in 2015) and ''Sånn Kjennes Verden Ut'' (in 2018). John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen (Norwegian: ''John Olav Nilsen & the Gang'') was a Norwegian rock-pop band formed in 2006 in Loddefjord, Bergen. It was fronted by singer-songwriter and main vocalist John Olav Nilsen, and released three studio albums before breaking up in 2013. The band's lyrics are entirely in Norwegian. Lars Nesheim Vaular (born 20 September 1984) is a Norwegian rapper, singer and songwriter from Åsane, Bergen. He started rapping in 2003. He initially released songs under the duo Tier'n og Lars before going solo. Tier'n & Lars Vaular had his beginnings as a hip hop duo formation with Fernando Manuel called Tier'n & Lars or alternatively Tier'n og Lars. The two hip hop artists with Manuel known as Tier'n cooperated with the Norwegian hip hop crew Freakshow with some tracks in a mixtape called ''We Are the Champions'' in 2004, followed the same year with ''Freakshow Presents Tier'n og Lars – Frykt og Avsky i Bergen''. The Cure are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Crawley in 1976 by Robert Smith (musician), Robert Smith (vocals, guitar) and Lol Tolhurst (drums). "A Forest" is a song by the English rock band the Cure. Co-produced by Mike Hedges and the band's Robert Smith, it was released as a single from the band's second album '' Seventeen Seconds'' on 8 April 1980. It was their debut entry on the UK Singles Chart, reaching number 31. The accompanying music video was first shown on BBC's ''Top of the Pops'' programme on 24 April 1980. Recorded and mixed over seven days, along with the rest of the songs from the album, "A Forest" is representative of The Cure's 1980s gothic rock phase. Nick Drake
Nicholas Rodney Drake (19 June 1948 – 25 November 1974) was an English singer-songwriter and musician. An accomplished acoustic guitarist, Drake signed to Island Records at the age of twenty while still a student at the University of Cambridge. His debut album, ''Five Leaves Left'', was released in 1969, and was followed by two more albums, '' Bryter Layter'' (1971) and '' Pink Moon'' (1972). While Drake did not reach a wide audience during his brief lifetime, his music found critical acclaim and he gradually received wider recognition following his death.
