Emperor Vulcan
Vulcan (Gabriel Summers) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in '' X-Men: Deadly Genesis'' #1 (January 2006). He is the third Summers brother to be revealed, the younger brother of X-Men characters Cyclops and Havok. Publication history Though a third Summers brother was mentioned years before by Sinister during an encounter with Cyclops, Vulcan first appeared in '' X-Men: Deadly Genesis'' #1, a story written by Ed Brubaker that ran from January to July 2006. Vulcan then appeared in "The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire" storyline, also written by Brubaker, in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' issues #475 to 486 (September 2006 to July 2007). Uncanny X-Men
''Uncanny X-Men'', originally published as ''The X-Men'', is an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics since 1963, and is the longest-running series in the List of X-Men comics, X-Men comics franchise. It features a team of superheroes called the X-Men, a group of Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutants with superhuman abilities led and taught by Professor X. The title was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, met with a lukewarm reception, and eventually became a reprints-only book in 1970. Christopher Yost
Christopher Lee Yost (; born February 21, 1973) is an American film, television, animation, and comic book writer best known for his work for Marvel Studios' Marvel Cinematic Universe with '' Thor: The Dark World'' (2013) and '' Thor: Ragnarok'' (2017) and on '' The Mandalorian'' for Lucasfilm and Disney+. Career Yost graduated from the University of Michigan in 1995 with a film and video degree and got into advertising in the Detroit area, producing TV commercials. He went on to earn an MFA in film from The Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California and later interned, in 2002, in Marvel Comics' west coast office. ''X-Men: Kingbreaker'' is a four-issue comic book mini-series starring the Starjammers and published by Marvel Comics. Taking place in Marvel's main shared universe, the Marvel Universe, the series was written by Christopher Yost, with pencils by Dustin Weaver. It was announced at the Fan Expo 2008. It began in December 2008 and ended in March 2009 (on sale dates). Premise The story features the Starjammers, and the Shi'ar and it is set immediately after the conclusion of the mini-series ''Emperor Vulcan''.
