Early career Reks was a breakdancer in his teens and was part of a local B-boy crew called Funk Town Connection. By the time he entered college at University of Massachusetts Amherst, Reks had built a reputation for himself in the local Boston rap scene, and eventually quit school to begin recording for Brick Records. A few 12" singles, "I Could Have Done More" and "Fearless," arrived first in early 2001, before Brick issued his debut LP, ''Along Came the Chosen'', later that year. Cary Guy (born December 13, 1961), better known as Big Shug, is an American rapper from Boston, Massachusetts, a co-founder of Gang Starr and a member of the Gang Starr Foundation collective. Paula Campbell is an American R&B singer from Baltimore, Maryland who first gained prominence as a contestant in the 2003 ''Baltimore Idol'' where she reached the top 8. Dexter Raymond Mills Jr., known professionally as Consequence, is an American rapper from New York City. He is best known for his collaborative work with A Tribe Called Quest and Kanye West. Career Consequence debuted in 1996, appearing several times on A Tribe Called Quest's fourth album '' Beats, Rhymes, and Life'', as he is the cousin of member Q-Tip. Daniel Domingo Carrillo (born October 8, 1982), better known by his stage name Termanology, is an American rapper and record producer. He first gained major attention with the 2006 single "Watch How It Go Down". A solo album, '' Politics as Usual'', was released in 2008. He has made a number of collaborative albums, such as ''1982'' (released in 2010) and is known also for his prolific mixtape output. He is of Puerto Rican and French descent. M.O.P. (short for Mash Out Posse) is an American hip-hop duo composed of rappers Billy Danze and Lil' Fame, best known for their song " Ante Up." The group has frequently collaborated with DJ Premier. The group is part of the Gang Starr Foundation.
