Chris Isaak
Christopher Joseph Isaak (born June 26, 1956) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and occasional actor. Noted for his reverb-laden rockabilly revivalist style and wide vocal range, he is popularly known for his breakthrough hit and signature song "Wicked Game"; as well as international hits such as "Blue Hotel", " Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing", and " Somebody's Crying". With a career spanning four decades, Isaak has released 13 studio albums, toured extensively with his band Silvertone, and received numerous award nominations. His sound and image are often compared to those of Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Ricky Nelson, and Duane Eddy. Isaak has associated with film director David Lynch, who has used his music in numerous films. Stockton is a city in and the county seat of San Joaquin County, California, San Joaquin County in the Central Valley (California), Central Valley of the U.S. state of California. Duane Eddy (April 26, 1938 – April 30, 2024) was an American guitarist. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, he had a string of hit records produced by Lee Hazlewood which were noted for their characteristically "twangy" guitar sound, including " Rebel-'Rouser", "Peter Gunn", and " Because They're Young". He had sold 12 million records by 1963. Stagg High School (Stockton, California)
Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, or Stagg High School, is a public, four-year high school located at 1621 Brookside Road in Stockton, California, United States. It is part of the Stockton Unified School District. The school was dedicated on February 25, 1959, and was named after college football coach Amos Alonzo Stagg. Campus Stagg has 117 classrooms, a multipurpose room, campus cafe, 2 gyms, state-of-the art weight room, and an administration building. The main campus was built in 1959. Five portable classrooms were constructed in 2000 for class size reduction. Due to a bond measure passed (Measure Q), much of the campus was upgraded to include weatherized classrooms, a new football field, softball field, and baseball field. ''The Chris Isaak Show'' is an American sitcom that follows a fictionalized version of the life of American rock musician Chris Isaak. The show portrays Isaak and his band members as everyday people with everyday problems. The series was produced for the Showtime channel from 2001 to 2004, and was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which stands in for the show's home setting of San Francisco.
