''Armed And Dangerous'' is the debut EP release by Canadian speed/ thrash metal band Razor, released in 1984. This EP was limited to 1,200 copies on vinyl and is very rare. This album is dedicated to the memory of Paul Chapman (1964-1983). Track listing Notes * The 2010 bootlegged limited edition colored vinyl by Razor Edge Records was hand numbered, limited to 550 copies. It was issued on black, white, clear, green and red vinyl with unknown delineation. It also has a three-way opening cover. ''Armed and Dangerous'' is the first EP by American heavy metal band Anthrax, released in February 1985 through Megaforce Records. The band produced the album with Carl Canedy and Jon Zazula acting as executive producer. This is the first Anthrax release to feature Joey Belladonna on vocals, and the first Anthrax release to feature Frank Bello on bass guitar. The 1992 issue includes the songs "Soldiers of Metal" and "Howling Furies" as its last two tracks. The line-up for those two tracks is Neil Turbin, Scott Ian, Dan Spitz, Greg D'Angelo (except where Charlie Benante rerecorded the drums), and Dan Lilker. It was released as a double album (along with '' Fistful of Metal'') in (Germany) in 2000. ''Spreading the Disease'' is the second studio album by the American heavy metal band Anthrax, released on October 30, 1985 by Megaforce Records and Island Records. It was the band's first album to feature vocalist Joey Belladonna and bassist Frank Bello. A special two-disc edition of the album was released in 2015, celebrating its 30th anniversary. Background and writing After Anthrax finished touring in support of '' Fistful of Metal'', vocalist Neil Turbin was expelled from the band. Matt Fallon replaced him, but was quickly fired because he lacked confidence in the studio. Producer Carl Canedy suggested the group to audition Joey Belladonna, who was not familiar with thrash metal. Though the band members were not pleased with Belladonna's musical background, they hired him and booked a few shows with their new frontman.
