Andromeda (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Andromeda (; grc, Ἀνδρομέδα, Androméda or , ''Andromédē'') is the daughter of the king of Aethiopia, Cepheus, and his wife, Cassiopeia. When Cassiopeia boasts that she is more beautiful than the Nereids, Poseidon sends the sea monster Cetus to ravage the coast of Aethiopia as divine punishment. Andromeda is chained to a rock as a sacrifice to sate the monster, but is saved from death by Perseus, who marries her and takes her to Greece to reign as his queen. As a subject, Andromeda has been popular in art since classical times; rescued by a Greek hero, Andromeda's narration is considered the forerunner to the "princess and dragon" motif. From the Renaissance, interest revived in the original story, typically as derived from Ovid's ''Metamorphoses'' (4.663ff). ''Dethalbum III'' is the third full-length album by virtual death metal band Dethklok, from the Adult Swim animated series ''Metalocalypse''. The CD and deluxe CD/DVD were released on October 16, 2012. It contains music from the second, third and fourth seasons of the show. is a protagonist in the ''Saint Seiya'' media franchise, which originated in the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada, that subsequently inspired an anime series, soundtracks, OVAs, films, video games, and other collectibles. Pantheon is a fictional organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Peter David, the Pantheon first appeared in '' The Incredible Hulk'' vol. 2 #368 (April 1990), and was a large part of that book's supporting cast from issue #379 (March 1991) to issue #426 (February 1995). Agamemnon, a half-human and half- Asgardian god, is born immortal. Although he never physically ages beyond the age of 16, the Pantheon are all his descendants. Andromeda Attumasen is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is an Atlantean of Marvel's shared universe, known as the Marvel Universe. She is the illegitimate daughter of Attuma. Publication history Andromeda was introduced in '' The Defenders'' #143 (March 1985) and added to the titular supergroup's lineup a few issues later. Cyril Rootham
Cyril Bradley Rootham (5 October 1875 – 18 March 1938) was an English composer, educator and organist. His work at Cambridge University made him an influential figure in English music life. A Fellow of St John's College, where he was also organist, Rootham ran the Cambridge University Musical Society, whose innovative concert programming helped form English musical tastes of the time. One of his students was the younger composer Arthur Bliss, who valued his tuition in orchestration. Zuckerbaby is an Alberta-based rock band that had some success in Canada during the late 1990s. The band formed out of local Calgary groove band Calliope. The band was known for its power pop influences and the thick lead guitar sounds of Reed Shimozawa, an alumnus of Calgary-based hair metal band Smash L.A. "Andromeda", "Heavy" and "Shampoo" were singles released from their debut, self-titled album. Their second CD "Platinum Again" was released in 2000 and two singles were released from it ; "Overexposure" and "Holiday". The band was dropped from its label when Mercury Records was reorganized under Universal Music.
