''Moby Presents: Alien Sex Party'', also called ''Porno'', is a 2001 American independent comedy musical directed by Paul Yates and executive produced by Moby about the goings-on in an adult video store on Christmas Eve. It had its world theatrical premiere at the 2001 Silver Lake Film Festival and was released on DVD (Eclectic DVD) in 2003. Paul Yates
Paul Francis Sanchez Yates is an American filmmaker, artist, and musician. Yates attended NYU for photography, received a BFA in film from SUNY Purchase in 1993 and received his M.F.A. in directing from AFI Conservatory in 2006. Yates began working in the film industry at age 9. Despite losing his family and becoming homeless at 15, Yates has made music videos or shot footage for Moby, R.E.M., The Dandy Warhols and others such as The Joshua Steeven for their music videos Sexx Joint and Never Known/Bead o Mine. Yates attended NYU for photography, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in film from SUNY Purchase in 1993, and received his MFA in directing from AFI Conservatory in 2006. 35 mm film is a film gauge used in filmmaking, and the film standard. In motion pictures that record on film, 35 mm is the most commonly used gauge. The name of the gauge is not a direct measurement, and refers to the nominal width of the 35 mm format photographic film, which consists of strips wide. The standard image exposure length on 35 mm for movies ("single-frame" format) is four perforations per frame along both edges, which results in 16 frames per foot of film. Leon Dewan
Leon Dewan is an American artist, inventor, and musician. He collaborates with Brian Dewan on Dewanatron, an electronic music instrument project. The son of an inventor, Dewan received a degree in physics from Yale University in 1989. His musical career draws on this background in physics, and heavily incorporates electronic and experimental instruments. Dewan resides in New Rochelle, in Westchester County, New York. The Zambonis are a Connecticut-based indie rock band formed in 1991 by musicians Dave Schneider (musician), Dave Schneider (The LeeVees), Peter Katis, Jon Aley, and Tarquin Katis. The Zambonis write songs exclusively about ice hockey.
