2024 BWF World Tour
The 2024 BWF World Tour (officially known as 2024 HSBC BWF World Tour for sponsorship reasons), was the seventh season of the BWF World Tour of badminton, a circuit of 31 tournaments that lead up to the World Tour Finals tournament. The 32 tournaments are divided into five levels: Level 1 is the said World Tour Finals, Level 2 called Super 1000 (4 tournaments), Level 3 called Super 750 (6 tournaments), Level 4 called Super 500 (9 tournaments) and Level 5 called Super 300 (12 tournaments). Each of these tournaments offers different ranking points and prize money. The highest points and prize pool are offered at the Super 1000 level (including the World Tour Finals). One other category of the tournament, the BWF Tour Super 100 (level 6), also offers BWF World Tour ranking points. An Se-young
An Se-young (; born 5 February 2002) is a South Korean badminton player from Gwangju, who won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event. She was named 2019’s Most Promising Player of the Year and 2023's Female Player of the Year by the BWF. She won the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships, making history as the first Korean women's singles player to win the World Championships title. She then clinched the women's singles gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games. An was also a part of South Korea's gold medal winning teams at the 2022 Uber Cup and at the 2022 Asian Games. The Indonesia Open () is an annual badminton tournament organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) since 1982. It became part of the BWF Super Series tournament in 2007 and got the Super Series Premier status in 2011. Muhammad Rian Ardianto
Muhammad Rian Ardianto (born 13 February 1996) is an Indonesian badminton player. Born in Bantul, Yogyakarta SR, Ardianto plays for the Jaya Raya Jakarta club at national events. He won the men's doubles silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games, the bronze medals at the 2017 SEA Games, and at the 2019 and 2022 World Championships. Ardianto was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup. He reached a career high of world number 1 in the men's doubles with Fajar Alfian on 27 December 2022. Fajar Alfian (born 7 March 1995) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with the SGS PLN Bandung. He won the men's doubles silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games, the bronze medals at the 2017 SEA Games, 2019 and 2022 World Championships. He was part of the Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup. He reached a career high of world number 1 in the men's doubles with Muhammad Rian Ardianto on 27 December 2022. Leonardus Jonatan Christie (born 15 September 1997) is an Indonesian badminton player specializing in the singles discipline affiliated with the Tangkas Specs club. The 2024 All England Open (officially known as the Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2024 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament that took place at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, Birmingham, England, from 12 to 17 March 2024 and had a total prize of US$1,300,000. The All England Open Badminton Championships is the world's oldest badminton tournament, held annually in England. Yuta Watanabe (badminton)
is a Japanese badminton player. He is a former member of the Japanese national team and joined J-Power in April 2025. He is known for his quick and explosive movements with signature drop shots. Partnered with Arisa Higashino, Watanabe won consecutive mixed doubles bronze medals at the 2020 and 2024 Olympics. The pair has also secured four medals at the BWF World Championships. Tan Ning (badminton)
Tan Ning (; born 3 April 2003) is a Chinese badminton player. She won the women's doubles silver medal at the 2024 Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2024 Asian Championships. She also helped the national team win the 2023 Asia Mixed Team Championships and the 2024 Uber Cup.
