Moshé Zwarts
Moshé Zwarts (27 August 1937, Haifa, Israël – 4 December 2019, Amsterdam, Netherlands) was a Dutch architect, founder of the architectural office ZJA (formerly Zwarts & Jansma Architecten) and a former senior professor of Architectural Technology at the Technical University of Delft and the Technical University of Eindhoven. His portfolio encompasses many infrastructural projects including football stadiums. Early life and education Zwarts was born in 1937, in the household of Jewish-Dutch parents in Haifa, present day Israel. In 1939 the family moved to Amsterdam. The year was the start of the World War II when his family was deported initially to the Dutch camp Westerbork and then to Bergen-Belsen. After liberation by the Red Army, they were able to return to Amsterdam. The reception of camp survivors was in the catacombs of the Central Station of Amsterdam. Joël Zwarts
Joël Zwarts (born 26 April 1999) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for German club VfL Osnabrück. Club career Born in Capelle aan den IJssel, Zwarts played youth football for VV Hillegersberg, VV Nieuwerkerk, Sparta Rotterdam and SBV Excelsior before joining Feyenoord in the summer of 2017. On 31 January 2019, he joined FC Dordrecht on loan until the end of the season. He made his debut for the club a day later in a 3–3 Eerste Divisie draw with Jong Ajax. On 24 June 2019, he returned to Excelsior on a three-year contract. On 15 July 2021, Zwarts signed for 2. Bundesliga side Jahn Regensburg. Frans Zwarts
Frans Zwarts (born 26 March 1949 in The Hague) was the rector magnificus (academic president) of the University of Groningen (2002–2011) and a linguist and professor in the Department of Dutch Language and Culture with a specialty in semantics. His first degree was in general linguistics at the University of Amsterdam, and his PhD was completed at the University of Groningen in 1986 with the dissertation ''Categoriale grammatica en algebraïsche semantiek; een onderzoek naar negatie en polariteit in het Nederlands'' (Categorial grammar and algebraic semantics: An investigation of negation and polarity in Dutch). He was appointed professor of Dutch linguistics in Groningen in 1987, and was scientific director of the research school (onderzoekschool) Behavioral & Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN) from 1999 until 2002, when he was elected rector magnificus. Kim Zwarts
Kim Zwarts (Maastricht, 1955) is a Dutch photographer. Kim Zwarts studied at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts. He has worked as a photographer on several architecture books, including monographs of Thom Mayne/Morphosis, Luis Barrágan, Wim Quist, Antonio Gaudi, Alvar Aalto, Charles Vandenhove, Wiel Arets, Dom H. van der Laan and Gerrit Rietveld. Zwarts has realized art commissions for Royal Sphinx, Mercedes-Benz, Limburg Water (WML) and Maastricht University. Study grants from the Netherlands Foundation for Fine Arts, Design and Architecture in 1990 and again in 1999/2000 enabled him to conduct photographic research.
