Zulhelmy Ithnain
Zulhelmy bin Ithnain (born 2 January 1968) is a Malaysian navy officer who serves as Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy since 1 August 2024. He served in the position in acting capacity from 1 August to 22 September 2024. Prior to his appointment, he previously served as the President of the National Defence Education Centre (PUSPAHANAS) from October 2022 to August 2023. Navy career Zulhelmy joined the Royal Malaysian Navy as an Officer Cadet on 6 August 1986, and was commissioned as a Sub Lieutenant on 1988. Among the positions he had held throughout his service include Commander of KD Tunku Abdul Rahman, Commander of RMN Submarine Training Centre and was both deputy commander and subsequently commander of RMN Submarine Force. He also served as Assistant Chief of Naval Sataff of Command, Planning and Development and then served as Commander of RMN Naval Region I in Tanjung Gelang, Kuantan, Pahang before being appointed as President of National Defence Education Centre in 2022 ...

The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, few provinces in the Philippines and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. References to Brunei and Indonesia are given when pertinent. In Malaysia, all non-hereditary titles can be granted to both men and women. Every title has a form of address which can be used by the wife of the title holder. The Most Esteemed Order of the Defender of the Realm () is a Malaysian federal award presented for meritorious service to the country.
