Zsolt Láng
Zsolt Láng (born April 4, 1973) is a Hungarian politician and member of the National Assembly (MP) from 2010 to 2014 and since 2022. He served as the mayor of the 2nd district of Budapest from 2006 to 2019. He is a member of the right-wing Fidesz. Profession Zsolt Láng was born into an intellectual family in Budapest on 4 April 1973. He attended Kodály Zoltán Primary School of Music in Marczibányi Square. He finished his secondary studies at Toldy Ferenc Gymnasium in 1991. He graduated from the College of Public Administration (present-day a faculty of the National University of Public Service) in 1995 as an administrative organizer, and in 2000 he graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). The National Assembly ( ) is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 (386 between 1990 and 2014) members elected to four-year terms. Election of members is done using a semi-proportional representation: a mixed-member majoritarian representation with partial scorporo, compensation via transfer votes and mixed single vote; involving single-member districts and one list vote; parties must win at least 5% of the popular vote in order to gain list seats. Katalin Lévai
Katalin Lévai (born May 22, 1954, in Budapest) is a Hungarian politician and Member of the European Parliament for the Hungarian Socialist Party, part of the Party of European Socialists. Lévai is a maverick and social-liberal politician who is willing to use bombastic statements to draw attention to the social and equality issues. In 2003 was named the first minister without portfolio for equal opportunities, and was termed the 'Conscience of the Government'. In 2005 she became a presidential candidate in Hungary. Tibor Navracsics (born 13 June 1966) is a Hungarian lawyer and politician, who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade from June to September 2014. He previously served as Minister of Administration and Justice between 2010 and 2014. Zsolt Wintermantel (born 26 February 1972) is a Hungarian politician, who served as Mayor of Újpest (4th district of Budapest) from 2010 to 2019. 2022 Hungarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on 3 April 2022 to elect the National Assembly, coinciding with a referendum. Hungary's incumbent prime minister Viktor Orbán won re-election to a fourth term. Addressing his supporters after the partial results showed Fidesz leading by a wide margin, Orbán said: "We won a victory so big that you can see it from the moon, and you can certainly see it from Brussels." Opposition leader Péter Márki-Zay admitted defeat shortly after Orbán's speech. Reuters described it as a "crushing victory". With 54.13% of the popular vote, Fidesz received the highest vote share by any party since the Fall of Communism in 1989. The election had been predicted to be closer than in previous years but Fidesz still held a 5–6 percentage point lead in the polls leading up to the vote.
