Zsolt Kontra (born August 23, 1955, in Sopron) is a former Hungarian handball player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics and in the 1980 Summer Olympics The 1980 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XXII Olympiad () and officially branded as Moscow 1980 (), were an international multi-sport event held from 19 July to 3 August 1980 in Moscow, Soviet Union, in present-day Russ .... In 1976 he was part of the Hungarian team which finished sixth in the Olympic tournament. He played all five matches and scored seven goals. Four years later he finished fourth with the Hungarian team in the 1980 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches and scored 30 goals. Sopron (; , ) is a city in Hungary on the Austrian border, near Lake Neusiedl/Lake Fertő. History Ancient times-13th century In the Iron Age a hilltop settlement with a burial ground existed in the neighbourhood of Sopron-Várhely.
