Zorgvliet
Zorgvliet () is a neighbourhood in the Scheveningen district of The Hague, Netherlands. It is named after the estate of the same name, once owned by the poet and writer Jacob Cats, (since then called the Catshuis), later by 18th century politician Willem Bentinck van Rhoon and later again becoming the official residence of the Dutch Prime Minister. It has 377 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) and covers an area of . It is bordered by the Laan van Meerdervoort, the Groot Hertoginnelaan, the Stadhouderslaan, the Stadhoudersplantsoen and the Eisenhowerlaan. Zorgvliet is the location of The Hague's "international zone", which is home to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Europol and the World Forum Convention Center. Gemeentemuseum Den Haag
The Kunstmuseum Den Haag is an art museum in The Hague in the Netherlands, founded in 1866 as the Museum voor Moderne Kunst. Later, until 1998, it was known as Haags Gemeentemuseum, and until the end of September 2019 as Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. It has a collection of around 165,000 works, over many different forms of art. In particular, the Kunstmuseum is renowned for its large Piet Mondrian, Mondrian collection, the largest in the world. Mondrian's last work, ''Victory Boogie-Woogie'', is on display at the museum. The current museum building was constructed between 1931 and 1935, designed by the Dutch architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage, H.P. Berlage. Museum Mesdag
The Mesdag Collection is an art museum in The Hague, Netherlands. It is managed by the Van Gogh Museum. The museum is housed next to the former house of the Dutch painter Hendrik Willem Mesdag and shows the art Mesdag and his wife Sina van Houten collected from 1866 to 1903. It features work of the painters of the Hague School like Willem Roelofs and Anton Mauve and work of the French Barbizon School (Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, Théodore Rousseau, Jean-François Millet, Charles-François Daubigny and Eugène Delacroix and paintings of Lawrence Alma-Tadema. There is also a large collection of Japanese art and Japanese craftwork (pottery) on show. This all is shown in a typical 19th-century setting. The Peace Palace ( ; ) is an international law administrative building in The Hague, Netherlands. It houses the International Court of Justice (which is the principal judicial body of the United Nations), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), The Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library. World Forum Convention Center
The World Forum (originally known as Nederlands Congresgebouw and formerly Nederlands Congres Centrum and World Forum Convention Center) is a concert venue and convention centre in The Hague, Netherlands, near the buildings of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and one of the administrative offices of the International Baccalaureate. Scheveningen () is one of the eight districts of The Hague, Netherlands, as well as a subdistrict () of that city. Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. The beach is popular for water sports such as windsurfing and Kitesurfing, kiteboarding. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was a body of the United Nations that was established to prosecute the war crimes in the Yugoslav Wars, war crimes that had been committed during the Yugoslav Wars and to try their perpetrators. The Laan van Meerdervoort () is an wikt:avenue, avenue in The Hague. At a length of 5.8 km, it is (as of 2011) the longest avenue in the Netherlands.
