Zoran Zečević
Zoran Zečević ( sr-Cyrl, Зоран Зечевић; born 12 October 1956) is a Serbian politician. He served in the National Assembly of Serbia, Serbian parliament from 2022 to 2024 as a member of the Far-right politics, far-right Serbian Party Oathkeepers (SSZ) and is now a member of the Aranđelovac municipal assembly. He was arrested in February 2025 on the grounds of attacking representatives of Serbia's Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy (Serbia), labour ministry. Private career Zečević was born in Aranđelovac, in what was then the People's Republic of Serbia in the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. He is a retired surgeon. In September 2022, it was reported that he was the co-owner of an illegal retirement home in Aranđelovac, which was still operating despite a prior ban. Aranđelovac
Aranđelovac ( sr-cyr, Аранђеловац, ) is a town and a municipality located in the Šumadija District of central Serbia. , the municipality has a population of 41,297 inhabitants, while the town has 22,881 inhabitants. It is situated beneath the mountains Bukulja and Venčac, at about above sea level, away from Belgrade. The municipality encompasses two towns and 18 village communities. Also, Bukovička Banja spa is located in the town. Etymology Most of the town territory used to belong to the village of Vrbica (Aranđelovac), Vrbica, today its suburb. Since prince Miloš Obrenović often resided in the Bukovička Banja, he decided to build a church in Vrbica in 1858 (one of his "repentance churches"), and dedicated it to St. Archangel Gabriel.
