InZOI
''InZOI'' (stylized ''inZOI'') is a life simulation game developed by inZOI Studio and published by Krafton. The game was released in early access for Windows on 28 March 2025. On June 9, 2025, during Apple's WWDC 2025, Craig Federighi announced that the game will be released on macOS alongside "consoles" in 2025. Gameplay ''InZOI'' features many of the same mechanics previously seen in other life simulators like character creation, building tools, needs, social interactions, careers, education, relationships, families, skills, aging, and death. There are eight needs, including hunger, hygiene, bathroom, fun, social, energy, sleep, and recognition. The game features careers, where the player can make the Zoi fulfill certain tasks in various roles. In ''InZOI'', the player is an intern at AR COMPANY, a virtual reality firm, whose job is to manage a neighborhood of virtual people called "Zoi". The purpose of this mechanic is to manage the karma Karma (, from , ; ) ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Life Simulation Game
Life simulation games form a subgenre of simulation video games in which the player lives or controls one or more virtual characters (human or otherwise). Such a game can revolve around "individuals and relationships, or it could be a simulation of an ecosystem". Other terms include artificial life game and simulated life game (SLG). Definition Life simulation games are about "maintaining and growing a virtual life", where players are given the power to control the lives of autonomous people or creatures. Artificial life games are related to computer science research in artificial life. But "because they're intended for entertainment rather than research, commercial A-life games implement only a subset of what A-life research investigates." This broad genre includes god games which focus on managing tribal worshipers, as well as digital pet, artificial pets that focus on one or several animals. It also includes genetic artificial life games, where players manage populations of ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Zero One Infinity Rule
The Zero one infinity (ZOI) rule is a rule of thumb in software design proposed by early computing pioneer Willem van der Poel. It argues that arbitrary limits on the number of instances of a particular type of data or structure should not be allowed. Instead, an entity should either be forbidden entirely, only one should be allowed, or any number of them should be allowed. Although various factors outside that particular software could limit this number in practice, it should not be the software itself that puts a hard limit on the number of instances of the entity. Examples of this rule may be found in the structure of many file systems' directories (also known as folders): * 0 – The topmost directory has zero parent directories; that is, there is no directory that contains the topmost directory. * 1 – Each subdirectory has exactly one parent directory (not including shortcuts to the directory's location; while such files may have similar icons to the icons of the dest ... Zoi (city)
Hezuo city ( zh, c=合作市), also known as Zö from its Tibetan name (), is the administrative seat of the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (TAP) in southern Gansu province in Northwestern China. It is home to the Gêndên Qöling (''Zö Gönba'') and its Milaraiba Tower, the Langshangmaio Temple, and a mosque. There is a breed of pig, the Zoi Swine (a.k.a. Silverweed Pig), from here and the whole Gannan TAP also. Name The Tibetan name "Zö" is pronounced ''Dzoi'' in Standard Tibetan and pronounced ''Hdzoi/Hdzu'' in local dialect. The Chinese name before the 1950s was "Heicuo" (黑错), a transliteration of the Tibetan name. In 1956, the name was changed to the similar-sounding "Hezuo" (合作), meaning "cooperation", which reflected the desire to bring unity and harmony to Hezuo. History Originally a rare populated wetland, mass city-construction began in the 1950s. During 1953, the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture was created, and the town of Hezuo (not yet a cit ... High Voltage Isolation And Ground Potential Rise
In electrical engineering, earth potential rise (EPR), also called ground potential rise (GPR), occurs when a large current flows to earth through an earth grid impedance. The potential relative to a distant point on the Earth is highest at the point where current enters the ground, and declines with distance from the source. Ground potential rise is a concern in the design of electrical substations because the high potential may be a hazard to people or equipment. The change of voltage over distance (potential gradient) may be so high that a person could be injured due to the voltage developed between two feet, or between the ground on which the person is standing and a metal object. Any conducting object connected to the substation earth ground, such as telephone wires, rails, fences, or metallic piping, may also be energized at the ground potential in the substation. This transferred potential is a hazard to people and equipment outside the substation. Causes Earth potential ...
