Zoe Miller (gymnast)
Zoe Eliana Miller (born November 11, 2005) is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team. At the 2023 Pan American Games, she won gold medals on the uneven bars and in the team event with the United States women's gymnastics team. She was a member of the team who won silver at the 2022 Pan American Gymnastics Championships. Early life Miller was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to Clara and Moulton Miller and has 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Gymnastics Career 2019 In June, Miller competed at the American Classic in the junior division, where she placed fifth in the all-around and on balance beam and placed sixth on the uneven bars. She next competed in the 2019 U.S. Classic, placing sixth on the uneven bars and twelfth in the all-around. Concussion
A concussion, also known as a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), is a head injury that temporarily affects brain functioning. Symptoms may include loss of consciousness (LOC); memory loss; headaches; difficulty with thinking, concentration, or balance; nausea; blurred vision; sleep disturbances; and mood changes. Any of these symptoms may begin immediately, or appear days after the injury. Concussion should be suspected if a person indirectly or directly hits their head and experiences any of the symptoms of concussion. Nola Rhianne Matthews (born September 20, 2006) is an American artistic gymnast. She is the 2023 Pan American uneven bars champion. Early life Matthews was born on September 20, 2006, in San Jose, California to physician parents Drs. Kari Bertrand (ob-gyn) and AJ Matthews (plastic surgery). Tiana Sumanasekera (born September 15, 2007) is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States women's national artistic gymnastics team.
