Kweku Sarpong Plahar (born 26 October 1988), better known by his stage name Zigi, is a Ghanaian singer. Biography Zigi began his career in the entertainment industry as a break dancer before going on to model for Smirnoff, MTN, and Canoe Magazine. He signed to Lynx Entertainment Lynx Entertainment is a Ghanaian people, Ghanaian record label founded in 2006 by the producer and singer-songwriter Richie Mensah. The label successfully launched the solo careers of the Ghanaian musicians Richie Mensah, Richie, ASEM, Irene Log ... Record Label in 2009 and released his debut album ‘Prince of Pop’ in 2011. The album featured hit singles ''U Sey Wey Tin'' and ''Amanda'' and earned him the nomination for ‘Discovery of the Year’ at the 2011 4syte Music Video Awards. Zigi received three nominations at the 2012 Ghana Music Awards for 'Best New Artiste of the Year', 'Afro-Pop Song of the Year' and 'Most Popular Song of the Year'. Lynx Entertainment is a Ghanaian record label founded in 2006 by the producer and singer-songwriter Richie Mensah. The label successfully launched the solo careers of the Ghanaian musicians Richie, ASEM, Irene Logan, OJ Blaq, Eazzy, Zigi, Jayla, MzVee, KiDi, Kuami Eugene and DopeNation. Lynx Entertainment has also produced hit singles for several Ghanaian artistes including Tinny, Okyeame Kwame, VIP, Praye, Bradez, Irene and Jane, Obour, Becca, Reggie Rockstone, Efya, Trigmatic, Sonni Balli, EL, Jael Wiafe, Edem and Iwan. In 2010, the label's artistes Richie, ASEM, OJ Blaq, Eazzy and Zigi collaborated on "Africa's Moment", which appeared on ''Hello Afrika'', Sony Music's release in conjunction with the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
