Zia Shahid
Zia Shahid (4 January 1945 – 12 April 2021) was a Pakistani journalist. He was the editor-in-chief of Channel Five and Roznama Khabrain, two prominent Urdu newspapers in Pakistan. Additionally, he was the proprietor of Liberty Papers Private Ltd, which owned a TV station and produced a number of daily newspapers. He founded the newspaper ''Khabrain'' in 1992. He Belonged to Arain family of Punjab. Shahid maintained relationships with numerous magazines during his career, developing a reputation as an experienced journalist. He participated in influencing public opinion and reported on several political eras in Pakistan. Death Shahid spent the last two weeks of his life receiving treatment at Shaikh Zayed Hospital for a cardiac condition for which he was suffering. Sitara-i-Imtiaz
The Sitara-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is the third-highest (in the order of "Imtiaz") honour and Civil decorations of Pakistan, civilian award in the State of Pakistan. It recognizes individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavours". This award is not limited to the citizens of Pakistan, and it can also be awarded to foreign citizens based on their achievements and services done to the State of Pakistan (see Władysław Turowicz). Arain
Arain (also known as Raeen) are a large Punjabi Muslim agricultural community with a strong political identity and level of organisation. At the beginning of the last century, they numbered around 1 million and were mainly rural cultivators and landowners concentrated in four districts: Lahore, Jalandhar, Amritsar and Ambala, all in the British Punjab province. Following the 1947 partition of India, they are now mainly present in the Pakistani provinces of Punjab and Sindh with a small population in parts of Indian Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) () is a global non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan. Tahirul Qadri
Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri (; born 19 February 1951) is a Pakistani Canadians, Pakistani–Canadian Islamic scholar and former politician who founded Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Pakistan Awami Tehreek. Born in West Punjab, Pakistan, Qadri has served as a professor of international constitutional law at the University of the Punjab. He also served as a Jurisconsult, jurist consult (legal advisor) on Islamic law for the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Supreme Court and the Federal Shariat Court, Federal Shariah Court of Pakistan.
