Zhuhai Championships
The Zhuhai Championships () was an ATP 250 series men's tennis tournament. It was played on outdoor hard courts of the Hengqin International Tennis Center in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China, which has 17 outdoor courts and a 5,000-seat stadium. In February 2019, ATP and Huafa Group announced Zhuhai to host the event in September. Starting with the 2024 season, the tournament was replaced by the Hangzhou Open. Venue The Zhuhai Championships shared the same venue of Hengqin International Tennis Center with the WTA Elite Trophy and the Zhuhai Open. ATP Tour
The ATP Tour (known as ATP World Tour between January 2009 and December 2018) is the sole worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) founded in 1990 that replaced the earlier dual Grand Prix tennis circuit, Grand Prix Circuit and WCT Circuit. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour. 2023 Zhuhai Championships
The 2023 Zhuhai Championships (also known as the Huafa Properties Zhuhai Championships for sponsorship reasons) was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 2nd edition of the Zhuhai Championships, after the inaugural edition in 2019 following the intervening editions were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in mainland China. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent (singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket strung with a cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. Jackson Withrow
Jackson Withrow (born July 7, 1993) is an American professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. Withrow has a career-high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 16 achieved on 19 February 2024. Withrow has won 10 ATP doubles titles. Career 2011 Withrow competed at the 2011 US Open doubles tournament, where he received together with his partner Jack Sock a wildcard. Nathaniel Lammons (born August 12, 1993) is an American professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. He has a career-high ATP ranking of world No. 17 in doubles, achieved on 27 January 2025. He has won 10 ATP doubles titles. Michael Venus (born 16 October 1987) is a New Zealand professional tennis player. He has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 6, achieved on 29 August 2022. Venus won the 2017 French Open men's doubles partnering Ryan Harrison, and followed with a runner-up finish in the 2017 US Open mixed doubles partnering Chan Hao-ching. Venus and Harrison qualified for the year-end championships ATP Finals, where they reached the semifinals.
