Zhijiang () is a county-level city of Yichang City, in the west of Hubei province, People's Republic of China. Until the 1990s Zhijiang was a county. It is located on the left (northern) shore of the Yangtze River, downstream from Yichang center city. County-level City
A county-level city () is a County-level divisions of China, county-level administrative division of the China, People's Republic of China. Köppen Climate Classification
The Köppen climate classification divides Earth climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on patterns of seasonal precipitation and temperature. The five main groups are ''A'' (tropical), ''B'' (arid), ''C'' (temperate), ''D'' (continental), and ''E'' (polar). Each group and subgroup is represented by a letter. Panyu
Panyu, formerly romanized as Punyü, is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, China. Since January 1975, Panyu County has been under Guangzhou's administration. In 1992, Panyu County was renamed to Panyu county-level city, still under Guangzhou's administration. It was subsequently renamed to Panyu District on 10 July 2000. The present district covers an area of about . Geography Panyu lies at the heart of the Pearl River Delta. Taishi, Guangzhou
Taishi Village () is a small hamlet (population about 2,000), in the town of Dongchong, Nansha District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, formerly in the now-disbanded Yuwotou Town () of Panyu District, Guangzhou. It is best known for being the flashpoint for democratic election reform in the region during 2005. In July that year, authorities grudgingly allowed the launch of a petition to dismiss the director of the villagers' committee, Chen Jingshen, who was accused of corruption involving a large land deal. The National People's Congress (NPC) is the highest organ of state power of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
