Zhenkang County () is located in western Yunnan province, China, bordering Burma's Shan State to the west. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Lincang. Lincang ( zh, s=临沧 , t=臨滄 , p=Líncāng) is a prefecture-level city located in the southwest of Yunnan province, People's Republic of China. History Lincang was previously called Baihuai during the Shang dynasty. On December 26, 2003, the state council approved the cancellation of Lincang District and set up prefecture-level Lincang city. Blang People
The Blang people (known in China as Bulang; ) or Plang () are an ethnic group. They form one of the 56 ethnic groups officially recognized by the People's Republic of China. They live in the areas of southern China, and parts of Myanmar and Thailand. ''Brasenia'' is a genus belonging to the family Cabombaceae, consisting of one species, ''Brasenia schreberi'', commonly known as watershield. It is widely distributed in North America, the West Indies, northern South America (Venezuela, Guyana), eastern Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Primorye), Australia, the Indian Subcontinent, and parts of Africa. ''Brasenia'' is a perennial aquatic plant with floating, peltate leaves and rhizomatous stems.
