Zhang Shuofu
Zhang Shuofu (; born August 1965) is a Chinese politician, and the Communist Party Secretary of Guangzhou from 2018 to 2021. A Hunan native with a background in waterworks, Zhang's political career seemingly took off in 2015, being assigned a succession of prominent roles around the country. He is currently a deputy chairman of the Guangdong People's Congress. Biography Zhang was born in Wangcheng County, Hunan. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in August 1984. He graduated from the Wuhan College of Hydraulic Engineering (now part of Wuhan University) with a bachelor's, then master's degree. He later obtained a doctorate degree at Hunan University in environmental science engineering. Zhang spent most of his career in the hydroelectric industry, going through a series of engineering and administrative jobs. In June 1995 he took up a job in flood prevention in his home province. A Party Committee Secretary () is the leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organization in a province, city, village, or other administrative unit. In most cases, it is the ''de facto'' highest political office of its area of jurisdiction. Dai Yongjun (born 10 December 1984) is a Chinese retired rhythmic gymnast. Career Yongjun took up rhythmic gymnastics in 1992 in Liaoning. In 1996, she was selected into the Liaoning Provincial Rhythmic Gymnastics team. From 1999 to 2003 she won several medals at the Chinese National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. In 2003 she was selected for the World Championships in Budapest as a member of the national group, they finished in 7th place in the All-Around (getting a ticket for the following year's Olympics) and took 4th place in the 5 ribbons' final. Yi Pengfei (; born May 1962) is a former Chinese politician who spent his entire career in his home-province Hunan. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft agency in February 2023. Previously he served as vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
