Zhang Changning
Zhang Changning (; born 6 November 1995) is a Chinese volleyball, indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player. She is a member of China women's national volleyball team. At the club level, she plays for Jiangsu ECE Volleyball, Jiangsu Zenith Steel. Personal life She was born in Changzhou and raised in Nanjing. She is the daughter of Zhang Yousheng, a former player of China men's national volleyball team, and Jiang Hanqiu, a college physical education teacher. Her elder brother Zhang Chen (volleyball), Zhang Chen is a current player of China men's national volleyball team. Along with her Jiangsu ECE Volleyball, Jiangsu teammates Hui Ruoqi and Gong Xiangyu, she attended Nanjing Normal University. She married basketball player, Wu Guanxi, on 30 July 2022. FIVB World Grand Champions Cup
The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup was an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's and women's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The tournament was created in 1993 after radical changes made on the biggest tournaments organised by the FIVB. The main goal was not to have a single year without two high-profile world-level volleyball competitions, alongside the pre-existing men's and women's world championship, men's and women's world cup and the volleyball tournament at the Olympic Games which are all quadrennial and the annual men's and women's Nations League. China Women's National Volleyball Team
The China women's national volleyball team () represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. The team is one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, and one of the most popular sports team in China, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups (1981, 1985, 2003, 2015, 2019), two World Championships (1982, 1986) and three Olympic titles (1984, 2004, 2016). Beach Volleyball
Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two to four players each on a sand court divided by a net. Similar to indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court. Each team also works together to prevent the opposing team from grounding the ball on their side of the court. Teams are allowed up to three touches to return the ball across the net, and individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively except after a touch off an attempted block. Making a block touch leaves only two more touches before the ball must be hit over. The Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, also known as the AVC Cup for Women, was an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the top senior women's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. The Asian Women's Volleyball Championship is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. The initial gap between championships was four years, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Thailand, which won its third title in 2023. The 21 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by three different national teams. China have won thirteen times.
