Mohamed Al-Zeno (; born 5 February 1983) is a Syrian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Taliya in the Syrian Premier League. Club career Early career Mohamed Al-Zeno's career began with the Al-Ittihad Aleppo youth squad under coach Omar Al-Shaaban in the "Al-Smoud Football School" in Aleppo. Later he joined the youth team of Shorta Aleppo. After playing a few games in the Al-Shorta under-17 youth team, he moved Al-Shorta's first team and in 1999 he signed his first professional contract. Anthony Michael Zeno (born October 1, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a , small forward-power forward. He played professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and in Belgium, Israel, France, and most prominently, Italy. College career Zeno played college basketball at Arizona State University, with the Sun Devils, from 1975 to 1979. Professional career Zeno was selected by the Indiana Pacers, in the second round, with the 32nd overall pick of the 1979 NBA draft. He averaged 1.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, in eight games played with the Pacers during the 1979–80 season. Zeno scored 2 points in his very first game with the Pacers. Reniero Zeno () (died 7 July 1268) was the 45th Doge of Venice, reigning from 1 January 1253 until his death in 1268. Life The first references to Reniero Zeno in historical sources describe him as a diplomat in France and Italy, where he was excommunicated for having pushed Bologna to avoid paying tributes to the Papal States. In 1240 he helped Doge Jacopo Tiepolo during the siege of Ferrara, in 1242 put down a revolt in Zara and in 1244 he was named ''capitano generale da Mar'' (fleet commander) of the Republic of Venice. Pietro Zeno (died 1427), was lord of Andros from 1384 until his death in 1427, and a distinguished diplomat in the service of the Republic of Venice. Life Pietro Zeno was the son of the Venetian ''bailo'' at Negroponte, also named Pietro Zeno. In early 1384 he married Petronilla Crispo, daughter of Francesco I Crispo, tenth Duke of the Archipelago, as part of the latter's attempt to secure Venetian recognition of his usurpation of the ducal throne after murdering his predecessor, Nicholas III dalle Carceri. Villa Zeno
Villa Zeno is a patrician villa at Cessalto, Veneto, northern Italy, and is the most easterly villa designed by Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The building is near the highway between Venice and Trieste, but was built to face a canal which served as the primary means of arrival. History Palladio's building for the Zeno family has been dated to the 1550s. It is illustrated in ''I quattro libri dell'architettura'', the architect's influential publication of 1570, and has similarities to some of the other villas described there such as the Villa Saraceno. It is also reminiscent of Villa Caldogno Nordera, which is attributed to Palladio, but is not included in ''I quattro libri''. Ana María Zeno de Luque (1922–2011) was an Argentine professor, gynaecologist, sexologist, and women's rights activist who specialized in sexual education and social medicine. George Lewis (clarinetist)
George Lewis (born Joseph Louis Francois Zenon; July 13, 1900 – December 31, 1968) was an American jazz clarinetist who achieved his highest profile in the later decades of his life. Early life Lewis was born in the French Quarter of New Orleans in 1900 and lived at 3327 De Armas Street in the Algiers section of New Orleans. Through his mother, Alice Zeno, his maternal great-great-grandmother was a Senegalese slave who was brought to Louisiana around 1803. Zeno's family retained some knowledge of Senegalese language and customs until Alice's generation. Personal life George married Emma Zeno in 1918 in New Orleans, they had four children, Mildred Zeno-Major; Joseph Zeno; William (Bill) Zeno; and George (Baby George).
