Jan Dismas Zelenka
Jan Dismas Zelenka (16 October 1679 – 23 December 1745), baptised Jan Lukáš Zelenka was a Bohemian composer and musician of the Baroque period. His music is admired for its harmonic inventiveness and mastery of counterpoint. Zelenka was raised in Central Bohemia, educated in Prague and Vienna, and spent his professional life in Dresden. The greatest success during his career was the performance of the extensive composition '' Sub olea pacis et palma virtutis'' in the presence of the Emperor Charles VI, shortly after his coronation as king of Bohemia in 1723. Karel Zelenka (born March 31, 1983) is a Czech-Italian former competitive figure skater. He is a five-time (2003–2007) Italian national champion and competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He qualified to the free skate at eleven ISU Championships – three World, three World Junior, and five European Championships – and finished in the top ten twice. František Zelenka
František Zelenka (8 July 1904, Kutná Hora – 19 October 1944, Auschwitz) was a Czech functionalist architect, graphic, stage and costume designer. Life Zelenka studied architecture at the Prague Technical University between 1923 and 1928. He was invited to collaborate on theatre stage set designs with Prague theatres: the National Theatre, the Liberated Theatre, the Estates Theatre, the Municipal Theatre in Vinohrady, the Chamber Theatre and with the Comedy Theatre in Smíchov. He also designed for theatres in Brno, Olomouc and Kutná Hora. He worked together with the greatest of the Czech theatre: E. F. Sarah McIlduff (née Zelenka; born June 8, 1987) is an American rower. She was a member of the 2012 US Summer Olympic team, having competed in the women's pair race. Biography Zelenka was born in Park Ridge, Illinois on June 8, 1987. She was a basketball player at Lake Park High School. Joseph John Zelenka (born March 9, 1976) is an American former professional football player who was a long snapper in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 1999. Petr Zelenka (serial Killer)
Petr Zelenka (born February 27, 1976) is a Czech serial killer. As a nurse in hospital Havlíčkův Brod, southeast of Prague, he murdered seven patients by lethal injection, and attempted to kill 10 others between May and December, 2006. He killed with a hidden vial of heparin — a blood-thinning drug causing internal bleeding when administered in large doses. His lawyer has been quoted as saying that Zelenka may have killed on an impulse to "test" doctors in Havlíčkův Brod, in the belief they were not good enough to discover the truth. In February 2008, Zelenka was convicted of killing seven patients and attempting to kill 10 others, and sentenced to life imprisonment.
