Ermenegildo Zegna N.V., also known as Zegna Group () or the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, is an Italian luxury fashion house headquartered in Milan. It was founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna in Trivero, Biella, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is led by the Zegna family and is a public company that is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Ermenegildo "Gildo" Zegna (; born 30 September 1955) is an Italian businessman, chairman and CEO of Ermenegildo Zegna Group, which was founded by his grandfather and namesake in 1910 in Trivero. Early life and education Gildo is a grandson of Ermenegildo Zegna, who founded the family business in 1910. Born in Turin in 1955 and grown in Biella, Gildo Zegna's father, Angelo, along with his brother Aldo, had been overseeing the business since the mid-1960s. Angelo was the company's honorary chairman until his death in 2021. Zegna graduated with a degree in economics from the University of London in 1978.
