Ze'ev Jabotinsky
Ze'ev Jabotinsky (born Vladimir Yevgenyevich Zhabotinsky; 17 October 1880 – 3 August 1940) was a Russian-born author, poet, orator, soldier, and founder of the Revisionist Zionist movement and the Jewish Self-Defense Organization in Odessa. With Joseph Trumpeldor, he co-founded the Jewish Legion of the British Army in World War I. Yaakov Farkash (; born 31 January 1923, died 15 October 2002), better known by the pen name Ze'ev (Hebrew: ), was an Israeli caricaturist and illustrator. Biography Early life and World War II Farkash was born in Budapest, Kingdom of Hungary (1920–1946), Kingdom of Hungary, in 1923. At an early age Farkash became interested in painting and at the age of 12 drew caricatures which he published in a newspaper he distributed in his neighborhood. At first he did not foresee himself drawing professionally, in part because he was color blind. In addition, his high school art teacher was not particularly impressed with his ability, calling him "the worst painter in class." Ze'ev Haimovich (; born 7 April 1983) is an Israeli former footballer. Biography Haimovich was born in Netanya to a mother from Odesa and father from Transcarpathia. Ze'ev Friedman (Hebrew: זאב פרידמן; 10 June 1944 – 6 September 1972) was an Israeli flyweight weightlifter. A member of the Israeli Olympic team, he was killed in the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. Ze'ev Drori (; born 1940 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli-born American technology entrepreneur currently residing in California. William Chomsky (born Ze'ev Chomsky; January 15, 1896July 19, 1977) was an American scholar of the Hebrew language. He was born in the Russian Empire (modern Ukraine) and settled in the United States in 1913. Zev Chafets (; born 1947) is an American-Israeli author and columnist. Biography Zev Chafets was born in 1947 in Pontiac, Michigan, and raised there. He graduated from the University of Michigan. Ze'ev Bielski (; born 13 March 1949) is an Israeli politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Kadima between 2009 and 2013. Zeev Ben-Zvi
Zeev Ben-Zvi (; 1904–1952) was a Polish-Israeli sculptor born in Ryki, Congress Poland, whose work influenced a generation of sculptors. Biography Born Beniamin Kujawski, Zeev Ben-Zvi studied at Academy of Fine Art in Warsaw. In 1923, he immigrated to Mandatory Palestine, where he studied at the Bezalel School of Art in Jerusalem from 1923 to 1924. When the New Bezalel School opened, he taught sculpture there from 1926 to 1927. In 1937, he travelled to Paris and then to London from 1937 to 1938.
