Zane Lowe
Alexander Zane Reed Lowe (born 1973) is a New Zealand radio DJ, live DJ, record producer, and television presenter. After an early career in music creation, production and DJing, he moved to the UK in 1997. He came to prominence through presenting on XFM and MTV Europe ( MTV Two), developing a DJ career by opening sets for bands and eventually landing a slot on prime-time radio on BBC Radio 1 from 2003 to 2015. In 2015, he was hired by Apple to be the Creative Director of their new world-wide music station, Apple Music 1. Career Early career Born in Auckland, Lowe attended Auckland Grammar School and was a presenter on local music station Max TV. RockNess 2012
RockNess 2012 was the seventh RockNess Festival to take place. It took place between 8–10 June 2012. On 5 July 2011 it was announced that the first 3000 people to complete an online survey on the 2011 event would be guaranteed to get their 2012 weekend tickets for a special £99 launch price. Due to an overwhelming response the offer was opened up to everyone and a limited amount of earlybird tickets were made available through the official website for £99 or in three installments of £33. On 3 October 2011 at 9 am the earlybird ticket offer ended, ticket prices were increased to an interim price of £125. The lineup for the 2012 event was announced on 26 January 2012. Glastonbury
Glastonbury ( , ) is a town and civil parish in Somerset, England, situated at a dry point on the low-lying Somerset Levels, south of Bristol. The town had a population of 8,932 in the 2011 census. MTV Rocks (formerly MTV Two, MTV2 Europe and M2) was a British pay television music channel that was operated by ViacomCBS Networks UK & Australia. Its programming consisted of 24-hour non-stop rock/alternative music. The channel closed on 20 July 2020. Kasabian
Kasabian ( ) are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and second vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff and bassist Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Karloff left the band in 2006 and founded a new band called Black Onassis. Jay Mehler joined as touring lead guitarist in 2006, leaving for Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye in 2013, to be replaced by Tim Carter, who later became a full-time band member in 2021. The Prodigy are an English electronic music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboardist, and songwriter Liam Howlett.
