Zana Nimani
Zana Šiškin (; sr-Cyrl, Зана Шишкин, ; born in September 1961) is a Serbian and Yugoslav retired singer and songwriter, best known as the first frontress of the pop rock band Zana. Biography Early life Zana Nimani was born in 1961 in Belgrade, to Kosovo Albanian parents from the town of Gjakova. Musical career Nimani started her career in 1976, when she started to sing with the band Suton, in which her boyfriend-at-the-time Radovan Jovićević played guitar. Since 1979, the band started to perform under the name Zana, adopted after Nimani's first name. The band's first 7-inch singles and their debut album ''Loše vesti uz rege za pivsku flašu'' (''Bad News Accompanied by Reggae for a Beer Bottle''), released in 1981, brought them nationwide popularity. A maxi single, maxi-single, or maxi CD (sometimes abbreviated to MCD or CDM) is a music single release with more than the usual two tracks of an A-side song and a B-side song. Dejan Cukić
Dejan Cukić ( sr-cyr, Дејан Цукић; born November 4, 1959) is a Serbian rock musician, journalist, writer and translator. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, Cukić was the frontman of the new wave band Bulevar, releasing two albums with the band. After Bulevar disbanded in 1982, he dedicated himself to journalism. He returned to music in 1984, when he became one of the vocalists of the rock/pop rock band Bajaga i Instruktori, with which he recorded three studio albums. In 1987, he released his first solo album, and soon after left Bajaga i Instruktori to pursue solo career, which spans to the present day. In 1988, Cukić formed his backing band, Spori Ritam Band. Musical career Bulevar (1978–1982) As a teenager Dejan Cukić was the singer of the band Dizel. After leaving Dizel, he joined Tilt, and later the new wave band Bulevar. Massimo Savić
Massimo Moreno Savić (6 June 1962 – 23 December 2022), also known simply as Massimo, was a Croatian pop singer. Biography Savić was born in Pula. His father Sergio was from Banjevci, Municipality of Stankovci, near Lake Vrana. His mother Elda () was an Italian from Nedešćina. He first became popular in the 1980s with his band Dorian Gray, and then soon embarked on a successful solo career. He won five Porin awards for best male vocal performance, 2004–2007, and in 2012. In 2013, Massimo's thirty-year anniversary concert sold out the Pula Arena. It featured Vlado Kreslin, Neno Belan, and Nina Badrić as guests, and was also broadcast live by the Croatian Radiotelevision. He was one of the judges on the second series of ''X Factor Adria''. Massimo died from lung cancer at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Zagreb on 23 December 2022, at the age of 60. He was buried at the Zadar City Cemetery on 3 January 2023. Milutin Petrović (; Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, Serbian Cyrillic: Милутин Петровић; 1791–1861) was one of the ''vojvodas'' (military commanders) of the Serbian Revolutionary forces in the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire, in charge of the Negotin area. Marina Tucaković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Туцаковић; 4 November 1953 – 19 September 2021) was a Serbian lyricist and songwriter. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Tucaković had a degree from the Economic Faculty at the University of Belgrade. She first started writing songs at the age of 19. After the success of "Dodirni mi kolena" ("Touch my knees") by the Yugoslav rock group Zana and vocalist Zana Nimani, Tucaković continued working with numerous artists in then Yugoslavia.
