Zaman Park
Zaman Park is a neighborhood in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. History Zaman Park, named after Khan Bahadur Mohammad Zaman Khan, the Post Master General of Punjab in British India until 1943-44, wasn't always known by this name. Earlier maps labeled the region as Punjab Light Horse (PLH) Parade Ground, part of the Cavalry Reserve in the British Indian Army. In 1936, the colony underwent a name change, adopting the name, Sunder Das Park. The area only gained its current name and houses after the construction efforts led by Rai Bahadur Sunder Das Suri and his family. By 1942, the area witnessed the emergence of six homes, all under the ownership of a single interconnected Hindu family. Upon the occurrence of the 1947 Partition, Zaman Park was adorned with 15 grand, palatial residences, constructed by Lahore's elite Hindu families. Humayun Zaman
Humayun Zaman (31 January 1936 – 17 June 2019) was a Pakistani cricketer who played first-class cricket from 1956 to 1971. Born to Khan Bahadur Mohammad Zaman Khan, Zaman received his education at the prestigious Aitchison College. A cousin of Majid Khan and Imran Khan who bowled medium-pace and usually batted in the middle order, Humayun Zaman represented a number of teams in his career. His best bowling performance was for Punjab in a semi-final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 1957–58, when he took 4 for 69 and 5 for 32 against Karachi C, as well as top-scoring with 57 not out in the second innings. Ijaz Hussain Khan (9 November 1938 — 27 June 2019), known as ''Jahaz Khan'', was a Pakistani former first-class cricketer who played for Lahore and Pakistan Railways between 1961/62 and 1973/74. Khan was described as ‘the finest off-break bowler, I faced in my entire career’ by his cousin Majid Khan, who was the leading Pakistan batsman of his era. Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan ( ur, ; born 27 September 1945) is a Pakistani politician and lawyer. He served two times as the Leader of the House in the Senate of Pakistan from 1994 to 1997 and again from 2012 to 2015. He also served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate.
