Zakharivka Raion
Zakharivka Raion ( uk, Захарівський район); (russian: Захаровский район), until May 2016 Frunzivka Raion ( uk, Фрунзівський район, ); (russian: Фрунзовский район, ), was a raion (district) in Odesa Oblast in southwestern Ukraine. The administrative center of the raion was the urban-type settlement of Zakharivka. The raion was abolished and its territory was merged into Rozdilna Raion on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Odesa Oblast to seven. The last estimate of the raion population was On 19 May 2016, Verkhovna Rada adopted decision to rename Frunzivka to Zakharivka and Frunzivka Raion to Zakharivka Raion conform to the law prohibiting names of Communist origin. Raions of Ukraine (often translated as "districts"; Ukrainian: ра́йон, tr. ''raion''; plural: райо́ни, tr. ''raiony'') are the second level of administrative division in Ukraine, below the oblast. Raions were created in a 1922 administrative reform of the Soviet Union, to which Ukraine, as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, belonged. On 17 July 2020, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) approved an administrative reform to merge most of the 490 raions, along with the " cities of regional significance", which were previously outside the raions, into just 136 reformed raions. Zatyshshia
Zatyshshia ( uk, Затишшя; russian: Затишье) is an urban-type settlement in Rozdilna Raion of Odesa Oblast in Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Zatyshshia settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: The town has a railway station on the line Odesa— Kyiv (stretch Rozdilna— Podilsk). The distance to Odesa is 72 miles, to Chișinău it is 53 miles. Name The word "Zatyshshia" doesn't have an exact analogue in the English language, it's close in meaning to the word "silence" or "calm" and means: temporary calming, suspension, weakening of any action, movement, development; temporary cessation of wind; temporary cessation of noise, movement; secluded living place, corner. Chervona Stinka
Chervona is a multi-ethnic, Russian and Eastern European-inspired band from Portland, Oregon, that formed in 2006. They have become known for their old world-inspired music and their highly energetic live shows. Much of the band's repertoire consists of revamped classics of Russian folk songs as well as klezmer songs from the Black Sea region of Odessa. The band also incorporates many original compositions into its live performances. History and influences Chervona started as a side project of Miru Mir!, a multi-cultural rock/punk band known for its raucous energy and its "high-energy blend of bohemian bombast and international intrigue." After a number of initial appearances alongside well-established acts in the genre, such as Manu Chao, Chervona quickly gained the attention of the Portland music scene and has since surpassed Miru Mir! in popularity and commercial success.
