Zainal Abidin Hassan
Zainal Abidin Hassan bin Ali (born 9 November 1961) is a Malaysian former footballer and the former head coach of Malaysia Super League side Penang. Playing career A versatile footballer who can playing in multiple positions, Zainal Abidin is well known as the best Malaysian footballer in the 80's and 90's. His football career started with Selangor FA in 1980. At the age of 18 years 6 month, Zainal made his international debut in the 1980 Merdeka Tournament against Indonesia. He played along with Malaysian legendary striker the late Mokhtar Dahari, R Arumugam, Soh Chin Aun and other recognised faces in Malaysian football. Al-Wathiqu Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah ( Jawi: ; born 22 January 1962) is the 18th and current Sultan of Terengganu. He served as the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the constitutional monarch of Malaysia, from 2006 to 2011. He is Malay by ethnicity and an adherent of Sunni Islam. Early life and education Mizan Zainal Abidin was born at Istana Maziah in Kuala Terengganu, the eldest son of Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah by his second wife, Sharifa Nong Fatima Alsaggof. Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium ( ms, Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin) is a Football stadium in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, Malaysia. Together with the adjacent Mini Stadium, it forms the centrepiece of Terengganu Sports Complex. It was used for football matches. The stadium holds 50,000 people and is named after the reigning Terengganu Ruler, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. The biggest stadium in the East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia, it was built to replace Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium as the state's main stadium. It is the current home ground of Terengganu FC. Zainal Abidin Ahmad (Malaysian Politician)
Dato' Zainal Abidin Ahmad (10 October 1939 – 25 March 2010) was a Malaysian politician. He was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Hulu Selangor constituency in Selangor until his death in 2010. He was a member of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) party in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition. Zainal Abidin was a member of the State Assembly of Selangor from 1990 for the UMNO party before being omitted from the ticket of the governing Barisan Nasional coalition for the 2004 election. From 1995 to 1999, he served as Deputy Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) and on the Selangor Executive Council. Zainal Abidin switched to the opposition Keadilan party in 2005. In the 2008 election, Zainal won the federal seat of Hulu Selangor, unseating the incumbent Barisan Nasional member by a narrow margin of 198 votes. Mohamad Amirul Hadi bin Zainal (born 27 May 1986) is a Malaysian former professional footballer who last plays for Malaysian club Johor Darul Ta'zim II and the Malaysian national team as a central midfielder. Tan Sri Zainal Abidin bin Ahmad (16 September 1895 – 23 October 1973) or better known by the moniker Za'aba (alternatively spelled ''Za'ba''), was a Malaysian writer and linguist. He modernised the Malay language with the publication of a series of grammar books entitled ''Pelita Bahasa'' in 1936 at the Sultan Idris Training College. The book contained guidelines in modernising the structure of classical Malay language, transforming it into the Malay language that is in use today. The most important change was in syntax, from the classical passive form to the modern active form. He also devised the Za'aba Spelling system for Malay, which was adopted as the official orthography of Malay in Malaya and continued to be used by its successor states Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei until 1972, when it was replaced by New Rumi Spelling. Sultan Zainal Abidin III Muadzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Muadzam Shah II, , (12 April 1866 – 26 November 1918) was Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan Besar of the state of Terengganu from 1881 to 1918. Succeeding on the death of his father Sultan Ahmad, under his reign Terengganu became a British protectorate under the Anglo-Siamese Treaty of 1909. In 1911, Sultan Zainal Abidin III issued Terengganu's first constitution. He died in Kuala Terengganu on 26 November 1918, aged 52, after a nearly 37-year reign and was buried in the Zainal Abidin mosque. He was succeeded by his son, Muhammad Shah II. Zulkarnaen bin Zainal (born 1 October 1973) is a retired Singaporean footballer. He played as a left-back or left midfielder. He was a member of the Singapore national football team that won the 1998 Tiger Cup. Ahmad Azlan bin Zainal (born 16 April 1986) is a Malaysian Footballer who plays for Kingstown Klang FC as a defender. He was also a member of Malaysia's national team.
