Zahra Universe is an American pop singer, pianist, composer/songwriter, producer, actress, and humanitarian. Notable single releases include "Drop" (2008), "Lock Me Up" (2009), "Falling in Love" (2011), "Gimme a Sign" (2012), "Dancin by the Fire" featuring Soprano (2012), and "Sela Sela (Dance Together)" with Wes Madiko and produced by Will.i.Am Productions, which was named Official Song of the Africa Football Cup of Nations, South Africa 2013 (2013 Africa Cup of Nations), all released by Arusa Entertainment. She is a pioneering artist in 3D technology, having released two 3D music videos "Falling in Love" and "Dancin by the Fire". Wes Madiko
Wes Madiko (15 January 1964 – 25 June 2021), better known mononymously as Wes, was a Cameroonian musician. He is probably best known among Western audiences for his cover of "Upendi", from '' The Lion King II: Simba's Pride'', as well as work with Deep Forest and his own 1997 hit " Alane" produced by Michel Sanchez. In late 2010, he was working on a new project with electronic composer and producer Paul Kwitek. He died on June 25, 2021, in Paris, France, due to a nosocomial infection after a medical operation. Background Wes Madiko's name means "The Roots of land of Ancestor". He was born in Mouataba, some hundred miles away from the city of Douala, Cameroon. From the age of two, his grandfather taught him about music and how to play the kalimba. The pair soon became inseparable. 2013 Africa Cup Of Nations
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations South Africa 2013 for sponsorship reasons, held from 19 January to 10 February 2013, was the 29th Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Starting from this edition, the tournament was switched to being held in odd-numbered years instead of even-numbered years so that it does not clash with the FIFA World Cup. This edition was therefore the first to be held in an odd numbered year since 1965. South Africa hosted the tournament for the second time, after previously hosting the 1996 African Cup of Nations.
