Zafri Khan
Zafri Khan (ﻇﻔﺮﯼ ﺧﺎﻥ; born 25 November 1970) is a Pakistani actor and comedian. He is best known for his work in Pakistan theatre, based in Lahore. He also has a successful career in television and films. Khan is famous for his slapstick comedy. He has acted with a number of other comedians including Nasir Chinyoti, Murtaza Hassan, Naseem Vicky, Amanullah, Babu Baral, Sohail Ahmad, Iftikhar Thakur, Anwar Ali, Tariq Teddy and Sakhawat Naz. Early life Zafri Khan was born in Punjab on 25 November 1970. Fellow actor and comedian Wajid Khan is his first cousin. Career Early work Zafri Khan started his career from Pakistan theatre. Amanullah Khan (1946 – 6 March 2020), known professionally as Amanullah, was a Pakistani Punjabi theatre performer, comedian and TV artist regarded as one of the best comedians in the Indian subcontinent. He was cited as one of the world's best observational comedians as he learned through his surroundings and everyday happenings. He influenced many artists as well as people. Tariq Teddy (12 August 1976 – 19 November 2022) was a Pakistani theatre comedian in Punjabi, known for his quick, sharp replies. Personal life Teddy was born in Faisalabad, Punjab, in 1976, into a family involved in furniture business. He had three children, a son and two daughters. In 2015, his wife Asma filed a case in court because Teddy didn't pay for the children's domestic expenses, leading to his arrest warrants. Career Teddy performed in Punjabi stage dramas, beginning in 1990, and also acted in films such as '' Salakhein''. His comedic persona was a fierce rival of the late fellow comedian Mastana, though the two were close friends off the stage. Death Teddy died in Lahore on 19 November 2022, at the age of 46.
