Zack MacEwen
Zack MacEwen (born July 8, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings. Playing career Junior The Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) noticed MacEwen when he was playing with Amherst, and he began playing with the team during the 2014–15 season, briefly filling in for various skaters who were attending that year's World Junior Championship. After being passed over in the 2015 NHL entry draft, he rejoined Moncton for the 2015–16 QMJHL season, scoring 10 goals and 30 assists in 66 games. ''TSN Hockey'' (formerly the ''NHL on TSN'' and ''The NHL Tonight on TSN'') is the blanket title used by TSN's broadcasts of the National Hockey League. Jalen Chatfield (born May 15, 1996) is an Americans, American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played with the Vancouver Canucks. Growing up in Michigan, Chatfield began playing organized competitive ice hockey with the Compuware Triple-A Under-13 team. Tyler Graovac (born April 27, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with Kunlun Red Star of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Graovac was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 7th round (191st overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. 2019–20 AHL Season
The 2019–20 AHL season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 4, 2019, and was officially cancelled on May 11, 2020. The 2020 Calder Cup playoffs, which was also cancelled, would have followed the conclusion of the regular season. The league suspended play on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America, and was not able to resume play. The Milwaukee Admirals claimed the league's regular-season trophy, the Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy, their second regular-season championship. The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team based in Rochester, New York. They are the American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres. The team plays its home games at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The 2018–19 AHL season was the 83rd season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 5, 2018, and ended April 15, 2019. The 2019 Calder Cup playoffs followed the conclusion of the regular season. This was the last year the Calder Cup was awarded until 2022. League changes The league expanded by adding the Colorado Eagles to the Pacific Division and moved the two Texas-based teams to the Central Division from the Pacific.
