Zach Evans
Zachary Evans (born May 30, 2001) is an American professional football running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs before playing one season with Ole Miss Rebels in 2022. Selected in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams, he played one season for the franchise before being released prior to the start of the 2024 season. Early life Evans went to North Shore High School in Houston, Texas. Evans was ranked as a five-star recruit and the number one player in the state of Texas in the 2020 class by 247Sports.com. He was compared to Melvin Gordon of the Denver Broncos. In 2019, Evans broke the team's cell phone rules. He was suspended and not allowed to play in the state championship game. A metatarsophalangeal joint sprain is an injury to the connective tissue between the foot and a toe (at a metatarsophalangeal joint, one of the joints in the ball of the foot). When the big toe is involved, it is known as "turf toe". Causes Turf toe is named from the injury being associated with playing sports on rigid surfaces such as artificial turf and is a fairly common injury among professional American football players. Often, the injury occurs when someone or something falls on the back of the calf while that leg's knee and tips of the toes are touching the ground. The toe is hyperextended and thus the joint is injured. Additionally, athletic shoes with very flexible soles combined with cleats that "grab" the turf will cause overextension of the big toe. The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a document used to indicate a student athlete's commitment to participating in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) colleges and universities in the United States. Melvin Gordon III (born April 13, 1993) is an American professional football running back. He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers, earning unanimous All-American honors and winning the Doak Walker Award as the top college running back in 2014.
