Zach Agnos
Zachary George Agnos (born August 15, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for the East Carolina Pirates as a two-way player. The Rockies selected Agnos in the 10th round of the 2022 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut in 2025. Early life and amateur career Agnos was born in Reston, Virginia, and attended Battlefield High School. He lettered all four years as a two-way player (shortstop and pitcher). In 2020, he began attending East Carolina University as part of the Pirates baseball team. He also majored in business management. During the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, he appeared in 17 games, slashing .246/.333/.277. Harvey Shapiro is an American college baseball coach, and former manager of the Netherlands national baseball team and the Bourne Braves. He was most recently head coach of the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2022. Biography A native of New Britain, Connecticut, Shapiro played college baseball at the University of Connecticut under coach Larry Panciera. He graduated from UConn in 1970 with a degree in accounting, and received a master's degree in physical education from Springfield College in 1975. Casey Shawn Schmitt (born March 1, 1999) is an American professional baseball infielder for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Albuquerque Isotopes are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
