Zacatecoluca Fútbol Club is a Salvadoran professional football club based in Zacatecoluca, La Paz department, El Salvador. The club will debut in the Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador series since the Apertura 2025 tournament. History Zacatecoluca FC won the Apertura 2023, Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño centro-oriente title defeating C.D. Audaz 2–0, thanks to goals from Ken Mejía and Eduardo Merino. Zacatecoluca FC followed by winning Clausura 2024 Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño centro-oriente title defeating Sensunte Cabañas on penalties. The club continued their success in the second division, the firstly won the Apertura 2024 title defeating Fuerte Aguilares, then winning the Clausura 2025 title by again defeating Fuerte Aguilares 1-0 on aggregate, the club was promoted to the Primera Division for the first time in the club history. Zacatecoluca
Zacatecoluca () is the capital municipality of the La Paz Department of El Salvador. Located in Southern El Salvador, in the Rio Lempa valley, at the foot of San Vicente (Chinchotepec) Volcano. A commercial center for the surrounding agricultural area, it also trades in cotton goods, baskets, salt, and lumber. History An earthquake in 1932 caused severe damage. Zacatecoluca was the birthplace of José Simeón Cañas, who fought for and secured the emancipation of slaves in Central America by Spaniards in 1825. Zacatecoluca houses many traditional Spanish buildings including the Santa Lucia Catholic Church and used to hold the house where José Simeón Cañas lived, until poor economy due to the many years of war caused the local government to sell the house to a supermarket branch, the house was destroyed and a poorly marked stone on the left of the supermarket entrance is all that is left of Cañas' housing legacy. Primera División Reserves (El Salvador)
Primera División Reserves (El Salvador) (officially known as Torneo Reservas), is the reserve team league for the top El Salvador football teams in the Primera Divisió. The league is split into a Clausura and Apertura season. The league in its current form started in 2009, restarting the top level of reserve-team football which had been inactive since 2003. Teams are not relegated from the Torneo Reservas League based on their final league position, but on the league position of their respective clubs' senior teams. If a senior team is relegated from the Premier League, then the reserve team is relegated from the Premier Reserve League and replaced by the reserve team of the promoted team. Guillermo Rivera
José Guillermo Rivera Escobar (born November 25, 1969) is a retired Salvadoran professional football player. Club career Nicknamed ''Memo'', Rivera came through the youth ranks at FAS, where he would stay for over a decade and win two league titles. In 1999, he moved abroad for a stint at Guatemalan side USAC. He returned to El Salvador to play for Salvadoran second division side Isidro Metapán alongside fellow international William Renderos Iraheta and finished his career at Once Lobos. International career Rivera made his debut for El Salvador in 1988 and has earned a total of 74 caps, scoring 15 goals. He has represented his country in 22 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and played at the 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1999 UNCAF Nations Cups and was a non-playing squad member at the 1996 CONCACAF Gold Cup but did play at the 1998 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

William Adalberto Osorio Rivera (born April 13, 1971) is a retired Salvadoran footballer. He was assistant coach at CD FAS, assisting technical director William Renderos. Club career After coming through at Coca-Cola, for whom he made his debut in 1987 while in the Salvadoran second division, Osorio started his top level career with FAS and made his debut in August 1990 against Fuerte San Francisco. Fuerte San Francisco is a football club based in San Francisco Gotera, El Salvador that plays in the Primera División, the top flight of Salvadoran football.
