Za hradbami (literally "Behind the Walls") is a street and sídlisko near the town centre in Pezinok, Slovakia. It is named after its location "behind the walls" (), that is behind the defensive wall. In the past, Za hradbami along with Sídlisko 1. mája were known as Sídlisko Stred II. In 2021, a playground with a former ball hockey field in Aktívny park Za hradbami was renovated. Bratislava Region
The Bratislava Region (, ; (until 1919); ) is one of the Regions of Slovakia, administrative regions of Slovakia. Its capital is Bratislava. Pezinok
Pezinok (; in the local dialect ''Pezinek''; ; ; ) is a town in southwestern Slovakia. It is roughly northeast of Bratislava and, as of December 2023, had a population of 24,443. Pezinok lies near the Little Carpathians and thrives mainly on viticulture and agriculture, as well as on brick-making and ceramic(s) production. Sídlisko is a term used in Slovak () which mainly means housing complex (with civic amenities). Other terms associated with this term are housing estate, housing development, housing project, settlement, neighbourhood or borough. Although the term is a general term, it is mostly used for housing complexes built during the socialist era in the now split Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic & Slovakia) containing houses built of panel (), for which they're also known as "panelákové sídliská" (panel housing complexes). Paneláks are the most common type of apartment buildings found in a typical sídlisko.
